Expert panel to look into concerns of teachers says Chief Secretary

Lucknow: A meeting was held with the Education Department and teacher organizations under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary  Manoj Kumar Singh.

In his address, the Chief Secretary said that under the leadership of Chief Minister, providing quality education to children is the top priority of the government. There is a need for transformational change in the education world. Teachers play an important role in providing quality education to students.

Without providing good education to children, the goal of  Prime Minister to develop India in the year 2047 cannot be achieved.

In the meeting, it was decided to constitute an expert committee to listen to the problems and suggestions of teachers. This committee will submit its report after listening to the problems and suggestions of teachers. This committee will include officials of the Education Department, members of the Teachers’ Union and educationists etc.

The committee will consider all the dimensions of education and give its suggestions for improvement. Digital attendance will be kept suspended till further orders. A decision will be taken on the basis of the committee’s report. Additional Chief Secretary Secondary Education Deepak Kumar, Principal Secretary Basic Education Dr Shamuga Sundaram, Director General School Education Kanchan Verma, State President of Uttar Pradesh Primary Teachers Association Dr Dinesh Chandra Sharma and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
